The Half Truncated is one of the bestknown shape variants. In this version a mass produced Fisher Cube was used as original puzzle. A Fisher Cube started its life as a shape variant of the 3x3x3, too.
Matthew Ray made the first sample in December 2008. The quality of Matthews original images are to bad to be used for the museum.
In 2011 Roger Meier made the sample in the images 2 and 3 with different cutting depths.
The first image shows a sample Rex Rossano Perez made in 2013 unknowing of the predecessors.
