This is one of three Holey Megaminx transformations Tony Fisher implemented and presented in September 2012.
After seeing seen things other people had done with Void Cubes he wondered if something similar was possible with Holey Megaminxes.
Tony cut away large chunks of the puzzle and it still kept working after he stopped the pieces from falling out of the newly created gaps.
Tony's small series consists of these three variants:
Siamese Void Pentagons (2 sides)
U-Void (4 sides)
Extreme Holey Megaminx (6 sides)
