A beautiful (but simple) puzzle closely related to the Dino Cube!
Has 8 triangular faces, and six square faces. The inner mechanism is an eight-armed spider with rotating tips. Each center triangular piece is attached to one of the eight tips. Turning a triangular face rotates the center piece and the three corners of the face around the axis of one of the eight tips.
Solving the puzzle is very trivial, and can be done via simple logic about as fast as you can find the pieces to place.
Piece type signature: HC2[C1 E3][]
This puzzle is extremely well made, turns wonderfully, and has durable stickers.
There are two methods used to disassemble. The first method requires quite a bit of force, and puts the puzzle at risk: simply turn a face half-way and gently pry up one of the triangular corner pieces. The second method requires a knife and may cause a tiny bit of damage if you're not careful: each center triangle piece has a cap which can be removed with a fine blade to reveal a screw.
Edge length: 40 mm
Weight: 103 grams
