A 6x6x6 truncated and bandaged to emulate a 4x6x6.

This is another example of a bandaged NxNxN simulating a cuboid. Such variants where under the earliest handbuild ones known to the community. This variant is much younger since it uses the 6x6x6 as base and here it was even tried to completely "delete" two of the originals puzzle six layers.
Like most of the other bandagings of this kind it simulates its namegiving cuboid not perfectly since it allows movements which were impossible on a true cuboid.
In may 2021 Ilya Toporgilka made the same puzzle, but he cut cuartets of the edges and 8 corners flat, leaving the centers curved, and put square stickers on all of the 32 centers. He called his 4x6x6 "almost proportional 4x6x6". The cubies are 11x11 mm, 11x13 mm and 13x13 mm. See the last image.
