The name describes it perfectly. Two years earlier this puzzle would have deemed impossible.

This is another case of what Oskar van Deventer once called "twistypuzzles extremism". By the beginning of this millenium the fully functional 3x3x5 was state-of-the-art technology, one of the most admired custom-built puzzles in existence. A few other cuboids were presented later but the end of the 3x3xN-line seemed reached not only because the 6x6x6 was not available back then.
In 2009 (after the mass produced 3x3x5 became available) the time was ripe to push the boundary further up. It was Traiphum Prungtaengkit, who presented the 3x3x6 to 3x3x10 (this one had to be pillowed in his design) in 2009-2011 one after the other before even he capitulated.
The began the time for the collaboration between Grégoire Pfennig and Claus Wenicker. The non-pillowed 3x3x10 was one result and only one month later the boundary is pushed one step further.
