Above:This one was created from eight edge faces from a Pyramorphix. Not the best color pattern. Off hand, I can tell that the puzzle can be solved from any state in just three twists... and maybe less.

The puzzle was first known under the names Okki and Gem (handmade piece-exchange-puzzles) before Mefferts started mass production under the name "Pyradiamond" by a price of $12. Like many other puzzles from Mefferts it has since gone out of stock.
Many collectors have made their own versions by shuffling the pieces of two pyramorphixes into this and into a Starburst puzzle.
You would think this puzzle would be trivial to solve with single-color stickers, but that's not the case. It only has four colors, so the goal is to make every color adjacent to itself - red must be touching red, blue must be touching blue etc. Other custom sticker arrangements add more challenge, but the four-color version makes a good puzzle to give to your your friends and family to solve.
Edge length 50mm
