This is a shape transformation of a puzzle that was born as a shape transformation. By 2010 the Axis Cube became a mass produced puzzle and shortly afterwards it was transformed in several other shapes. This is the cylindrical version of it.
18 months after the initial version the creator presented version 2 with different stickers. Now he applied his frames-only stickers which became his trandemark in the meantime. He named this new version "Chinese Barrel" which is no reference to the nationality but to the porcelain-like look of the body.
