This modification of a 3x3x3 is a combination of two wellknown transformation techniques. It tilts the axis of a Fisher Cube some degree towards the hexahedrons corner. The result is that there are always pair of identically shaped pieces if symmetric pieces are ignored.
The puzzles started its life as custom variant. In 2014 a reinvented mass produced version named "Crazy Yileng Magic Cube" hit the market.
