A Rex cube transformed into the shape of a dodecahedron.

This is the second puzzle in dodecahedral shape with 8 possible turns. It was made form a Rex cube a fact which is hinted to in the puzzles name. Because the tetrahedral symmetry (which is the base for the Rex cube) is a subgroup of the dodecahedral symmetry this puzzle does not change shape.
It was made by extensions only. No truncations were used for this puzzle. The red-blue-yellow corner in the images represents a corner of the original Rex Cube.
It solves like a super Rex Cube which means the X-Faces of the Rex cube are all distinguishable and the faces itself have to be oriented correctly.
Piece type signature: HC2[F3 E3 X9][F3]

Images 4-8 show the "Super Ivyhedron", designed in 2022 by Carlos Ramirez.
Edge length: 37 mm
Weight: 390 grams (compared with 144 grams for the original Rex Cube)
