In 2009 the designer Ola Jannson came up with a design which allows to create cuboids 2x2xN with arbitrary N. This had been a theoretical approach for one year until Ola got in contact with Karl-Heinz Diekmann which supplied him with a full printed example of his creation. This time for a 2x2x8.
