A megaminx-like puzzle transformed into the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron. It uses spherical cuts.
This is the second puzzle with this combination of shape and axis system. The first one was the Rhombicinx which was handmade from a megaminx. This puzzle was prototyped from and printed. Because of this method the spherical cuts could be introduced.
The puzzle's name is another reference to axis system and shape. The "natural" shape of the puzzle dictated by the axis system would be the (platonic) dodecahedron but it has the shape of the rhombi dodecahedron.
Since both shapes have different symmetry groups the puzzle has to change its shape.
