The fist application of the circle-concept to a megaminx.
This is the first built Circle Megaminx also known as crazy megaminx. It was not mass produced but custom made. The pieces within the circle never move with the outer pieces and can not be moved independently.
Sadly this puzzle represents no new solving experience. All pieces present behave connected to the regular corners, edges, faces or the core of a megaminx. The "faces" orientation is visible in this puzzle.
The original design steems from Adam G. Cowan. The sample shown here was built by Aleh Hladzilin from master pieces made by the inventor.
What makes things more complicated is an inactive member named lukeharry. In August 2009 he presented an unfinished version which was left almost unnoticed.
In early 2012 hknowstore started selling a variant. These puzzles are made by combining pieces from several "Crazy Megaminx Plus"-Puzzles.
