A Deeper Face-Turning Icosahedron. The short form of this gives the puzzle its name.
At first this puzzle seems to be a member of the radiolarian series but it was designed by a different person after the first three radiolarians. It differs from its cousins by its cutting depth.
Just like the other face turning Icosahedra, the DeFTI can jumble.
For the first three years this puzzle was available only as a 3D-print from shapeways. Beginning with 2013 a mass produced version is sold under the name "Eitan's Star".
Weight: 320 grams.
