Shape shifting 2x3x3

This 2x3x3 contains a modified regular Rubik's 3x3x3. The middle layer is hidden. One of the 3x3-sides is locked by gluing the face to the core. This puzzle can be twisted into a lot of strange shapes but all of these movements lead into dead ends. See images 3-6. These new shapes do not lead into new scrambling or solving techniques for the puzzle.
