Two 3x3x3 are joined together to a Siamese1x1x1, aka Rubik's SpeedFusion Cube. Six additional connectors restrict the two 3x3x3's even further. Three connectors would have been sufficient but the other 3 are added for aesthetic reasons.
In this variant just the three slice moves are possible for each cube which means it implements the subgroup [Us Ls Fs], which is the so-called slice group and has 768 permutations.
