This is a transformation of the Corner turning snub cube. Several modifications have been made with respect to the original puzzle, the most important being related to the size of the equilateral triangles, which have been made smaller in order to show the border pieces that are hidden in the original model.
Another important modification is that of not presenting stickers, the models have been made with 4-colour pieces, which allows to create the patterns of the 8 birdies that are presented and give name, together with the polyhedron used, to the models.
This model has 116 pieces in addition to the core, which is due to the bandage on the rectangular triangles.
