The inventor was inspired by the Super Rex and the Bauhinia Dodecahedron II. It was designed as a Rex Cube with slightly different cuts that make a corner piece appear to turn it into a true Curvy Master Skewb.
The designer made it two times: With traditional stickers and with super stickers. The Super variant is documented first in the line of images because the traditional variant is too close to the Master Skewb to warrant a new entry.
