The idea for Penta Trap was to eliminate two sides of a megaminx by extending the other ten sides. This idea alone was implemented into the Pentagonal trapezohedron Megaminx.
New about the Penta Trap is that the cuts were extended too so that new pieces emerge. The result is a Starminx with two sides eliminated with bandaging.
This was part of the Puzzle Advent Calendar 2022.
