The Square-equal twisted inside its solid by 45°.
This design follows the square-equal from the same inventor. That puzzle is a Square-1 but with segments in equal size. For its successor the designer twisted the puzzle by 22.5° around one axis to place the halving cut into the middle of one face. Then he twisted the puzzle again by 45° so the middle layer ends up in a diagonal of the cube.
