qqwref wrote:Whoa! How does it stay together? And could you make a 2-gen version?
If you have a void cube handy, and are willing to take it apart somewhat, pop off a corner and its 3 surrounding edges. Now imagine cutting the rails and sub-edges to make it look like what I have. This would almost work, but then you could turn through the "fused" block, and it would fall apart. So, glue the little bits of the sub-edges to the little-bit-more-than-half of the rails and voilà!
As to a 2-gen version, I'm assuming you mean the 2 sided version? If so, then yes, it's entirely possible. I don't have a spare void cube to cut up at the moment, but I'd love to see the results if anyone else does!

It is like a fused cube, but with one little exception: It gets a weird parity case. If you solve it layer by layer (or some variant that leaves you with a last layer), it's possible to get one corner twisted. Of course, the missing corner (which is connected to the missing centers) is twisted too, but since it's missing, one can't tell which way it's facing. So, I solve it corners-first.
