I made a 3x3 out of a 5x5 to make a cube like there is in the v-cube patent.
I used a mini 5x5, glued all the corners and edges together to make 12 edges and 8 corners then I sanded down the pieces to make it better. It was a bit bumpy so I put dirt in it and now it turns better.
Now it works about as good as a good Rubiks cube or a dian sheng. (kind of a fail)
I'm wondering if anyone else has made a cube like this and should I put it in the museum?
I also have some variations of a barrel cube that I made and I am wondering if I should put those in the museum?
Thanks
-Spencer

I'm not aware of any 5x5, KO or legitimate, that is mini and follows the V Cube mech. Wouldn't you need to bandage a V Cube 5x5?
Definitely post pictures of all the mods, though, whether you want them added to the museum or just up for everyone to see in this topic!

I saw that not too long ago...
Saw it selling at a shop. It was SUPER smooth but felt like it was going to crumble in a day.
As for the V-Cube 3, add it to the museum.

Wouldn't a "real" V-Cube 3 be proportional?

True, but I was doing this more for the mech.

Show them to us and ask the second question again. If it is new the chance is high that it will be added, especially if you contribute the info by yourself.
